Pelham, Bon Echo, and Oakville, oh my!

Over the course of the last three weeks, I have been an exhibitor in 3 big shows. The first was The Pelham Summerfest, a four day show in the picturesque town of Fonthill. It was the first year that they have done this show, and it was wonderful. The volunteers and artists involved with the organizing and running of this event went above and beyond to ensure that this show was a huge success, and it was! There was great entertainment, wonderful food and wine available, and of course some very spectacular artwork being showcased.
The next show was in Bon Echo Provincial Park. This is my fourth year participating in this event, and it was a great show. I couldn't go last year due to some scheduling conflicts, and I forgot how stunningly beautiful this park is. Towering pine trees, beautiful beaches, warm water, and incredible blue skies that turn to a dark indigo full of a million stars. This park does wonders for the soul. It was so great to see old artist friends and meet new ones too, and to have past customers come by and welcome me back to the park. Especially one in particular (and she knows who she is!)and made a point of stopping by with kind words and encouragement. Mother Nature was clearly on our side and gave us an amazing weekend, and I am so thankful for being able to go and be part of it again!
The last show was on the holiday Monday, in Oakville. Traditionally this show always seems to fall on the HOTTEST day of the summer (last year was like being in a blast furnace it was so hot) but this year was really quite pleasant. It was a beautiful day with great music, amazing artists showing their work and it was so nice to be back down by the lake.
I would just like to say a quick thank you to all the volunteers at all the shows. They worked so hard and gave of their time some generously to make sure that we had everything we needed and kept these shows running smoothly and without all their efforts and hard work, none of these shows would be possible.I am truly grateful to you all. A thank you also has to be offered to all the patrons that took time out of their busy summers to come and visit these shows, purchase artwork, and/or took a moment to stop and chat and offer such kind words of encouragement and best wishes. I am so very grateful to you all.
I now have a few weeks to catch my breath, and play catch-up around here a bit before I am off and running again! I have so many ideas that I want to develop and turn into paintings, that I am getting excited about already.I am looking forward to an exciting fall season!
Thank you!
